A majority of states have legalized medical cannabis, but the official position of the federal government is that cannabis is a criminal substance with no medicinal benefit. Because of this, patients can face difficulties accessing medicine while traveling or moving across the country, and they are unable to use insurance to cover the cost of medical cannabis.
Here at the Marijuana Policy Project, we’re working to change that. We’re the number one organization in the United States fighting to legalize cannabis use, but we can’t do our work without the help of grassroots supporters like you.
