Marijuana Policy Project

It’s time to get federal legalization over the finish line.

Federal cannabis policy hasn’t changed in over 50 years. But now, allies of cannabis legalization in the House and Senate are introducing legislation to end cannabis prohibition. This is a clear indication that the momentum for change is on our side!

Allies of cannabis reform are working hard to make legalization happen, and with multiple bills introduced in Congress, NOW is the time to act:

  • The HOPE Act: Fund state cannabis conviction expungement programs.
  • The CAO Act: Deschedule cannabis and enact responsible regulations.
  • The SAFE Banking Act: Grant access to critical banking services.
  • The MORE Act: End the failed era of cannabis prohibition.
  • The States Reform Act: Decriminalize cannabis and protect veterans' access to cannabis.

We can’t sit idle. We need to seize this moment and get legislation over the finish line ASAP! Will you pitch in right now to help us do it?
