“If you legalize marijuana, you’re gonna kill your kids.”
This recent statement from Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts is only the latest in a long line of absurd anti-legalization statements from state officials. One thing is clear: Politicians like Ricketts will do everything in their power to oppose cannabis legalization.
So, if they’re going to fight tooth and nail against legalization in their states, we need action at the federal level. That’s why we created our Federal Legalization Fund: to push for national progress on legalization.
