Help Democrats win in Montana

Democrats are well-positioned to flip MT-1, where Republican Ryan Zinke won in 2022 by just 3 points. And Jon Tester needs to win re-election for the Democrats to hold the Senate. A key to winning both races will be mobilizing young voters under 35, who makeup 28% of Montana’s voting-age population and mostly live in the college towns of Bozeman and Missoula, both in MT-1. To help turn out these voters, Blue Tent recommends that donors support:

Forward Montana works to build “political power with and for young Montanans.” It has a strong record of engaging young voters in MT-1 and a compelling plan for boosting their turnout in 2024. The group will engage in “targeted GOTV efforts that reach the right voters at the right time” through canvassing, phone, mail, and social media. If Forward Montana achieves its goal of 58% youth turnout, Democrats can win MT-1.
