The recipe for building political power has always began at the grassroots locally. From our Mayors that run our cities to the District/ State's Attorney's who have the power to ensure that our criminal justice system actually lives up to the justice part of its name, local candidates are on the front-lines of fighting to provide equal representation, ensure that Black voices heard, and impacting our every day lives.
Our 2020 municipal candidates are the cornerstone of building black political power through our bench and will have a monumental impact on how are cities are governed and how our communities policed.
We need you to help us pull enough resources together to ensure these candidates have what they need to run successful campaigns and win!
Chip in TODAY to help us uplift Black candidates and make sure Black voices are heard in 2020 and beyond.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am not doing business with any Ohio State Elected Official.
- If I am an employee of the Ohio public office for which the recipient of my contribution is a candidate, I certify that this contribution is voluntary and unsolicited.
- This contribution complies with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act, O.C.G.A. Sec 21-5-30, et seq.
- This contribution is not from a corporation or labor organization.
- I will disclose to the recipient of my contribution any contract I have with the political subdivision of Missouri to which the recipient of my contribution is seeking election.
