Muslim Women For Donation Center

Help us continue to move our work forward to provide brave and welcoming spaces organized, led, and facilitated by Muslim women and femmes that recognize, celebrate, and uplift the work and experiences of Muslim women and women of color.

For centuries, stereotypes of Muslim women have been utilized and reinforced for polarizing reasons as they face daily micro-aggressions regarding visual expressions of their identity, making these spaces even more necessary.

We Need Your Support To:

- Create a video series and a complimentary magazine uplifting the story of Black Muslims in the south by highlighting the stories of Black Muslim leaders in the south.

- Launch a Muslim Women For Research Committee that will aim to collect data and research on issues impacting Muslims and particularly Muslim women in the south. This work will also include conducting needs-based assessment surveys in our community and working closely with other Muslim leaders to create a strong and sustainable Muslim network in the Raleigh-Triangle area.

- Develop local and grassroots-based sustainable leadership training and curriculum that will be used to empower our communities and build local power

-Continue to hire staff and ensure that people are being paid a livable wage for their contributions within our movement.
