CP Fundraiser for Muslim Women For

I am fundraising for Muslim Women For, an organization focused on fostering and nurturing vibrant Muslim societies and creating positive social change through political education, leadership development, relationship building, women of color empowerment, and grassroots organizing.


I have spent the past couple of months participating in something called the Anne Braden Program, an intensive training for white people who want to end white supremacy in our home communities. As part of the Anne Braden Program, I am charged with picking a local organization led by people of color to fundraise for. As a member-leader of Jewish Voice For Peace, I am fundraising to redistribute resources to an organization committed to fighting white supremacy and Islamophobia, and building Black and Brown, feminist, working class political power.


Today, I am writing you to ask that you help me reach my goal of raising $6,012 for Muslim Women For to support their vision of nurturing the next generation Muslim women, femme, non-binary leaders.
