Every election cycle, over a dozen congressional campaigns come within a few percentage points of winning without the help of national groups like the DCCC, EMILYs List, organized labor, or other Democratic Party–backed independent expenditures. In 2022, the lack of support in these races cost the Democrats the majority in Congress.
Must Win. Can Win. has been
established to make sure that doesn’t
happen again.
The goal of Must Win. Can Win. is
simple: use advanced analytics, polling, and other research methods to identify and track races that are winnable but not currently perceived as “toss-up” elections by national pundits and media groups. Must Win. Can Win. will invest soon after Labor Day with a goal of putting the race “in play.”
