Myles became the youngest and only black, Ingham County Commissioner at the age of 25. He partnered with Sarah Anthony to implement a program to erase medical debt for Ingham County residents, he secured funding to expand the elder services for the Southside Community Coalition, significantly increasing food access for local elders.
