NAACP Voter Drive and Digital Transformation

Nine years ago, my husband and I adopted our beautiful son Lucas, who happens to be African American. We are frankly terrified about the kind of country he is growing up in now. That’s why I’ve taken the summer off to volunteer for the NAACP Civic Engagement Voter Drive.

Trump won by 77,000 votes in MI, WI and PA where over 500,000 eligible African Americans did not vote. THIS CANT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Will you please join us in this DO OR DIE voter drive? With COVID-19, the NAACP is investing heavily in a digital campaign to ensure AS MANY INFREQUENT BLACK VOTERS AS POSSIBLE are contacted and educated about mail-in voting and in person ballots. The work is focused on key battleground states with your help Black Votes will change history this year. I hope you’re as passionate as we are in seeing a huge turnout to turn the tide.

Your donation to NAACP Empowerment Programs Civic Engagement Program helps staff and thousands of volunteers across the country do the necessary work to get us to victory in November and beyond. NAACP Empowerment Programs is investing this money strategically.

This includes:

--Organizing volunteers and paid staff for voter registration and voter mobilization;

--Deploying teams virtually to make calls, send text messages and drive digital engagement;

--Using digital relational organizing tools for direct voter contact through tested messaging and trusted messengers;

and,

--Leveraging traditional voter contact programs (Direct mail, Education lit distribution, PSA’s through radio, etc.).

*Donations to NAACP Empowerment Programs are tax-deductible.
