Nakisha "Nikki" Evans is running for Democratic State Committee, in partnership with Akel Williams, to deliver better representation for Assembly District 43 and build the Democratic Party we deserve. State Committee (also known as District Leader) is an unpaid position but it costs money to run for office especially when you're taking on the Brooklyn machine. Your donation will help Nikki print palm cards, maintain a web presence, send mailers, and win as a first-time candidate!

Nikki believes we need a stronger party that actually fights and delivers for working people in Brooklyn. Our party should be focused on issues like good jobs in every community, protecting tenants from abusive landlords, and achieving universal childcare. Unfortunately the Brooklyn Dems have been focused on protecting incumbents and running pay-to-play scams, but we can change that this June!
