We are a worker center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota fighting human trafficking and building power for workers in our state.
South Dakota has some of the most anti-worker laws in the nation, shepherded in by big business ready to take advantage of immigrant and poor workers. This has resulted in disastrous working conditions for many right under our noses. This includes, but is not limited to, a significant amount of human trafficking we believe happens within our state's labor force.
We organize with a broad coalitions of workers, survivors, businesses, and unions to tip the scale in the favor of the construction worker, the carpenter, the brick layer, the line chef, or the meatpacking worker who otherwise would be vulnerable to disrespect, exploitation, or worse.
Your support helps us employ organizers, support survivors of trafficking, and bring together our campaigns that aim to change unjust systems.
We are fighting for a fair and just future for all workers in South Dakota.
