My name is Nathan Ong Norris and I'm running for election in Multnomah County District 2 to fight for climate justice, sustainability, emergency preparedness, community resiliency, Preschool for All, and social housing.
I was born and raised in the Portland metro. I have a Master's Degree in Emergency Management & Community Resilience from Portland State University. I am a community organizer, a hazardous waste technician, a union member, and a Democratic Socialist.
I believe that society is a series of promises we make to each other including:
- Clean air
- Clean water
- Accessible health care
- Safe and stable housing
- Coordinated emergency management
As County Commissioner, I will work to fulfill those promises.
