We advance Native American political power, through mobilizing voters, electing officials that advocate for our issues, and promoting legislation that benefits our people in both rural and urban communities.
We are off to an amazing start, but our work is far from complete. Our top legislative priority in 2021 will be to strengthen voting access for all communities, particularly rural Tribal communities. The 2020 election cycle reinforced the need as many voters were required to obtain more documentation to register to vote because Tribal ID cards were not usable within the voting system. We want to ensure that Nevada integrates Tribal ID cards into both the in person and online registration systems.
