Trump has just rescinded every protection that kept ICE from invading schools, hospitals, and churches. These spaces were once off-limits, places where people could seek safety, education, and medical care without fear of being torn from their families. That protection is gone.
But resistance is growing. School districts are already saying they won’t comply. Many schools are implementing policies that block ICE from entering without a court order. They’re preparing staff to protect students and pledging to refuse any cooperation with immigration enforcement. Faith leaders and healthcare workers are joining them, demanding that ICE be kept out of these critical spaces.
Governors have the power to stop this, but they need pressure from us to act. They can block state resources from being used for ICE raids. They can ban local law enforcement from assisting in mass deportations. They can sue the federal government for violating constitutional rights.
Contribute to National Campaign for Justice and fund the fight demanding governors stop ICE raids in schools, churches, and hospitals now.
