Fund the Fight to Stop the 10-Year AI Regulation Ban Now!

House Republicans voted to block every state in America from regulating artificial intelligence for the next ten years. They want to silence state lawmakers, strip away local protections, and let powerful tech companies call the shots with zero accountability.

Buried in their so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” is a stunning 10-year ban on any state or local law that regulates artificial intelligence. That means no state-level safeguards against algorithmic hiring discrimination, no rules for AI surveillance, no protections against deepfake election lies. Nothing. Not until 2035.

This is a Big Tech power grab. And under Senate rules, thanks to the Byrd Rule, non-budgetary provisions like this are not supposed to be in budget reconciliation bills at all.

But Trump’s GOP doesn’t follow the rules. So now we have to force the Senate to do the job the House refused to do by stripping this provision or killing the bill.
