Twenty-five years ago, day laborers gathered on a soccer field—not only to play, but to build community, share information, and organize for a better future. From those conversations grew the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON), rooted in a simple belief that still guides us today:


Solo el Pueblo Salva al Pueblo — Only the People Save the People.


Since then, immigrant workers have built a movement that has defended workers' rights, civil rights, and human rights. Together, we've fought wage theft, improved workplace safety, responded to disasters, defended families facing detention and deportation, won landmark legal victories, and developed thousands of worker leaders across the country.


Today, that work has never been more urgent.


As immigrant communities face unprecedented attacks, we continue to respond the same way we always have—with solidarity, organization, and collective action.
