By using every tool at our disposal, from grassroots organizing to litigation, we helped prevent Republicans from creating “durable” majorities for themselves during the latest redistricting cycle. But our work is far from over.


Republicans want to manipulate our democracy so they can predetermine elections before a single vote is even cast. From supporting judicial candidates who they believe will rubber stamp gerrymandered maps to nominating candidates for secretary of state who perpetuate the Big Lie, they’re politicizing every aspect of our democracy for political gain — and it’s up to us to fight back.


We just announced our initial Democracy Defenders, candidates running for office up and down the ballot in our 17 target states who have committed to protecting our democracy, ending gerrymandering, and ensuring equal representation for all.

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

  4. This contribution is not being made on behalf of a national bank or a corporation chartered by an act of Congress.
Your contribution to the National Democratic Redistricting Committee will be disclosed on public filings with the IRS. The National Democratic Redistricting Committee is required to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals who contribute $200 or more in the aggregate in a calendar year. Federal law imposes taxes and penalties on political organizations for failing to disclose this information to the IRS. Unlimited contributions may be accepted from individuals, corporations, labor organizations, and PACs. Contributions are not accepted from foreign nationals (individuals or corporations) or nationally chartered banks.
