Donate to help Democrats Win Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District 2024

Nebraska awards their electoral votes using the Congressional District Method. That means the winner of each congressional district receives one electoral vote.

Cook Political Report rates Nebraska’s 2nd as an even district. It has been represented by a Republican in Congress since 2017, but Joe Biden won it in 2020, and thus received their one electoral vote. In a close election, that one vote could be critical.

If we were to win the swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, but lose Arizona, Nevada and Georgia, that would leave us 269 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 268.

In that scenario, the winner of Nebraska’s second congressional district wins the election.

Donations on this page will go towards the candidates and organizations who will be working to Get Out The Vote in that district:

Nebraska Democratic Party - State party

Douglas County Democratic Party - The state's largest county. Douglas includes Omaha and has a population of 590,000 people. Ninety percent of the district's residents live in Douglas county.

Tony Vargas - The Democrat's congressional candidate for the district.

Additionally, if you'd like to donate to the two smaller county parties that make up the remaining ten percent of the district's population, you can do so here:
