Support Jose Delgado

Mr. Delgado is a public affairs leader with over 14 years of Government, Non-profit and Private sector experience. Currently, he is the Chief Engagement Officer at the Executive Office of Public Safety & Security. Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff of Access & Opportunity for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. In this role, Jose managed the administration’s efforts around diversity, equity and inclusion around workforce, contracting opportunities and development projects. Delgado created and chaired the ARPA Federal Funds Equity & Accountability Review Panel and served on the Holyoke Soldiers Home Access, Inclusion & Diversity Committee.


An initiative of New Politics, the New Power Project is uniquely focused on recruiting and empowering values-driven individuals who have grown up in marginalized or underserved communities. Our focus is on community-based leaders who are ready to seek office now. We are extremely fortunate to support Jose Delgado in his bid for Springfield City Council At-Large.
