Support Nine Servant Leaders to Flip the House

Your contribution today will be split among nine extraordinary New Politics candidates running in the most competitive districts of 2026. Veterans, faith leaders, and community advocates — each has answered the call to serve before, and now they’re stepping up again to put country over party. Together, they represent the path to flipping the House and defending our democracy.

Kishla Askins (NE-02, Navy veteran & former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs): Running in one of only three GOP-held districts won by Harris last year, Kishla’s record of service makes her the ideal candidate to flip this D+3 seat.

Elaine Luria (VA-02): A Navy commander with 20 years on combat ships and a proven record of mission-first leadership in Congress. We were proud to support Elaine in 2018 — and we’re proud to stand with her again.

Rebecca Bennett (NJ-07, Navy helicopter pilot & health care leader): Running in one of the most competitive swing seats, Rebecca’s impressive profile has a lot in common with another servant-leader running in NJ – Democratic gubernatorial nominee Mikie Sherrill.

Cait Conley (NY-17, Army officer and counterterrorism official): A West Point grad and special operations combat veteran, Cait is running in a Hudson Valley seat rated D+1 — and has already broken fundraising records and built a national profile.

Ryan Crosswell (PA-07, USMC veteran & former federal prosecutor): A Marine who stood up to corruption within Trump’s DOJ, Ryan is challenging a vulnerable freshman Republican in a true bellwether district.

Jo Mendoza (AZ-06, USMC veteran and advocate): Raised in a farmworker family, Jo served as a Marine Drill Instructor, and brings that grit and intensity to one of the closest House districts in the country – a true toss-up seat.

Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03, State Senator & AmeriCorps alum) Sarah has already proven she can win tough races in Iowa. Now, she’s stepping forward to fight for working families on the national stage.

Matt Maasdam (MI-07, Navy SEAL & Obama Military Aide): From serving 20 years in the Navy to carrying the “nuclear football” alongside President Obama, Matt Maasdam has always put service to country first. He’s now challenging a vulnerable Trump Republican in a toss-up Michigan district.

Maura Sullivan (NH-01, USMC veteran and former Obama official): From serving in Iraq to reforming systems at the VA in the Obama administration, Maura has taken on tough challenges and led with integrity. She’s running in a must-hold open seat that is at the top of GOP target lists.
