Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is an opportunity to reflect on the past, heal, forgive, and renew our commitment to building a better world in the coming year.

While we celebrate the sweetness of Rosh Hashanah, we also reflect on how broken the world has felt at times this past year: of the daily nightmare of the occupation and the failure of moral leadership we’ve seen from our Jewish institutions.

We'll be thinking of how IfNotNow has brought thousands of people to the streets in protest of the violence on Gaza this spring, demonstrating at Federations, the Israeli Consulate, and in Senators’ offices to condemn their silence and demand a response. We'll be thinking of the 13 brave young Jews who walked off their Birthright trips this summer in protest of the group’s right-wing agenda.

Trump moving the embassy to Jerusalem, American Jews being detained at Ben Gurion Airport, and the unconscionable violence against Palestinian protesters in Gaza all show how critically IfNotNow is needed. We cannot continue the fight for freedom and dignity in the New Year without you.

Our movement relies upon small-dollar donations from people like you to make sure we have the resources we need to grow and make an impact.

Please support our work with a monthly donation and become a Movement Sustainer.
