New Georgia Project Action Fund

General Contribution

New Georgia Project-ACTION FUND

New Georgia Project Action Fund (NGP-AF) exists to increase the civic participation of under-represented and underserved communities of color. NGP-AF does this by engaging in local and state political campaigns, in support or opposition to ballot measures, referendums, recalls, initiatives and candidacies for local and state offices.

2017 Communication Approaches

NGP-AF’s Action Plan is to close out 2017 having communicated with 100,000 people of color and mobilizing 3,500 people of color to the polls. While deepening our engagement and expanding our campaigns and program in these cities we will use the following methods to engage and inform them.

·      GOTV - Get Out the Vote by knocking on doors

·      Text messaging- pledges to vote, polling information and important dates

·      Phonebanking - insuring that people know where to vote

·      Social Media - FB, Twitter, Instagram posts of voter information

·      Mailings - following up on GOTV efforts

·      Media Efforts

Your support is appreciated!
