Hi, I’m Kenny Nguyen, and I’m running to represent Adams, Broomfield, and Weld counties. I’ve spent over five years as a Colorado state employee, including serving under Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera, and I currently serve on the Broomfield City Council working to expand income-aligned housing, strengthen local governance, and support essential community services.
I’m a first-generation Coloradan, born to Vietnam War refugees, and the first in my family to earn both a college degree and an MPA from CU Denver. Public service has shaped my entire adult life—from AmeriCorps and the “I Have a Dream” Foundation to my work in state government.
I’m running to fight for affordable housing, better public transit, and a stronger Colorado. I’m grateful for the many supporters—especially Colorado’s Asian American leaders—who have already endorsed my campaign. Their support is deeply meaningful in a state where Asian Americans remain underrepresented in government.
