Kenny Nguyen for Colorado HD33

Hi, I’m Kenny Nguyen, and I’m running to represent Adams, Broomfield, and Weld counties. I’ve spent over five years as a Colorado state employee, including serving under Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera. On January 21st, I was appointed to serve as Colorado State Representative for House 33 becoming the first ever Vietnamese American at the State Assembly.

I’m a first-generation Coloradan, born to Vietnam War refugees, and the first in my family to earn both a college degree and an MPA from CU Denver. Public service has shaped my entire adult life—from AmeriCorps and the “I Have a Dream” Foundation to my work in state government.

I’m running to fight for affordable housing, better public transit, and a stronger Colorado..
