New Hampshire Youth Movement Project

Invest In A Livable Future

This political moment calls for a movement of young people working to create a livable future with good jobs, education and healthcare for all.

New Hampshire Youth Movement is working at the state and federal level to:

  1. End the climate crisis and create millions of good paying jobs.
  2. Ensure that everyone can get a higher education regardless of income.
  3. Guarantee that everyone receives the medical care they need.

Green New Deal

The climate crisis is an existential threat to our way of life. For decades the fossil fuel elite have been profiting off the destruction of our planet. Now we are seeing wildfires, droughts, storm surges and sea level rise wreak havoc on our communities. A Green New Deal is a suite of bills that will stop the climate crisis and create millions of jobs. A comprehensive Green New Deal must center the communities impacted most by the climate crisis, include a federal jobs guarantee that will put Americans back to work building the renewable infrastructure, and end the use of fossil fuels.

Free College For All

Every person should have access to the education they need to pursue their dreams and fulfill their potential. Currently, students and alumni are drowning in debt while private loan providers are making obscene amounts of money. Providing free college for all will be a massive investment in our work force and our economy. Comprehensive education reform must eliminate tuition and fees at all public colleges, eliminating all existing student debt, and investing in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSI’s).

Medicare For All

Healthcare is a human right, and everyone deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their ability to pay. People across this country are drowning in medical debt just to receive the services they need to stay alive while pharmaceutical and insurance executives accrue unimaginable wealth. To address the healthcare crisis, we need a Medicare for All system that includes everyone and eliminates private insurance companies.
