Donate to NIAC Action PAC and our 2023 Endorsees

NIAC Action PAC supports candidates for public office who are committed to advancing peace and diplomacy, championing our legislative priorities which includes preventing war with Iran, and working to promote prosperity for the Iranian-American community. We are excited to announce that this year we are endorsing:

Parisa Dehghani-Tafti is an Iranian American committed to justice who is running for re-election for Arlington Commonwealth Attorney. NIAC Action was proud to endorse Parisa in 2019, and she has proven to be a strong ally and leader as a part of a wave of more progressive attorneys. She has reflected her values through action during her time in office by staffing the only Conviction Review Unit in Virginia, establishing a new mental health docket, expanding drug court, reducing the jail population to its lowest in history, securing indictments and convictions in all serious crimes, creating a novel restorative justice program for young people, and helping to win more than $ 700,000 in criminal justice grants to Arlington and the City of Falls Church.

Atoosa Reaser is an Iranian-American attorney and passionate advocate who has used her legal expertise to serve her community and protect the rights of others and is running for Virginia House of Delegates District 27. Throughout her career, she's stood up for children as a guardian ad litem and fought for at-risk youth in Loudoun County. Now, as she runs for the House of Delegates, Atoosa is driven by the same values that led her family from Iran to America: freedom, opportunity, and the belief that everyone deserves a fair shot.

Dr. Ibraheem Samirah is running for Virginia State Senate District 32. Ibraheem is a small business owner, healthcare provider, and unapologetic advocate for progressive policies. As a former representative of Virginia’s 86th District, Ibraheem has already proven his commitment to serving his community. He's championed crucial issues like green energy, healthcare for all, and affordable housing. His courage isn't just in his policies – Ibraheem grabbed national headlines when he stood up to President Trump's divisive rhetoric.
