Each year during National Nurses Week, Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health (NSRH) organizes a campaign to celebrate and support our mission of providing students, nurses and midwives with education and resources to become skilled care providers and social change agents in sexual and reproductive health and justice.
The 2024 National Nurses Week campaign serves as a recognition of the tireless efforts of nurses in the reproductive health and justice landscape and their commitment to advocating for equitable care for everyone. This is a time to honor their compassion and garner support for NSRH’s ability to continue developing the sexual and reproductive healthcare workforce. As we collectively navigate a post-Roe political landscape and brace ourselves for each wave of bans or restrictions - NSRH remains a source of education, community, and professional development.
Donating to NSRH helps to train the next generation of nurse leaders. From comprehensive continuing education courses offered through the Online Institute to the nation's only travel abortion nurse program, NSRH provides avenues for nurses to enhance their skills and become skilled sexual and reproductive care providers.
Being a member of NSRH opens up numerous opportunities for learning and professional growth, empowering nurses to become changemakers in their communities. By supporting NSRH, individuals contribute to the advancement of sexual and reproductive healthcare and help ensure that nurses have the resources they need to continue making a difference in the lives of their patients.
