Noah's fund for IfNotNow's Jewish Resistance

Goal thermometer

I started organizing with IfNotNow one year ago and it has changed my life. Not only have I found a spiritual and political Jewish home, but I have proclaimed my Jewish identity loud and proud marching in the streets and have helped bring hundreds more into a publicly Jewish, publicly anti-occupation movement. In the past year we have seen a rise of antisemitism. In 2017 we witnessed August 12th in Charlottesville, the Boston Holocaust memorial vandalized twice in one summer, and a president who makes political moves causing violence and unrest in the name of our American Jewish community. I hope we don't always need IfNotNow, but today, right now, we need IfNotNow- we need a young, vibrant, moral Jewish community who tells the rest of the country and the world: We are here, we are JEWISH, and we are against the occupation. We will not be silent in the face of anti-Jewish oppression and we will not be silent when others try to steal our voice and use it for their own political agenda.

Since Trump’s election, we’ve built the #JewishResistance to combat antisemitism and continue fighting for freedom and dignity for all, in Israel, Palestine, and here at home. We tripled our membership, doubled our chapters, and increased our online reach by hundreds of thousands.

In 2018, we’re going to continue to speak out as a Jewish moral voice for justice. And if this year was any indication, the stakes will only get higher — and we'll need to be bolder and more impactful.

To do that, we need your support.

Because unlike AIPAC and ZOA, we can't count on the Sheldon Adelsons of the world to write us fat checks at the end of the year to fund our movement. We rely on grassroots, small-dollar supporters like you to help us grow our volunteer-led movement.

Last year, I called upon this group to donate to the #JewishResistance and you came through in such a meaningful and affirming way. Seeing old friends contribute to this movement made me believe I was working this hard, volunteering this many hours, and putting my body on the line for a reason... It made me believe that we will win... I'm looking to raise $200 before the end of the year- please give again and watch the #JewishResistance grow with me.
