Florida, under DeSantis’s policies, is now a book-banning hub, removing over 1,400 titles from schools due to content, particularly LGBTQ+ representation. Some areas have even shut down school libraries altogether.
It’s more than a book issue; it’s about representation and support for LGBTQ+ kids who are already at risk.
