Join us for a celebration honoring James Noble’s 22 years of service to the City of Kingston

The contribution for dinner is $30 per person. If you are unable to attend, we would greatly appreciate your donation to the City of Kingston Democratic Committee in honor of James Noble's service.

James Noble has served as an elected official in the City of Kingston for 22 years. He served as the Chairman of the Kingston Democratic Committee from 1995-1996, 6th Ward Alderman from 1997-2002, and Alderman-at-Large from 2002 until he announced his retirement this year.

Chairing the Common Council Finance Committee for 5 years, he ably steered Kingston through the departure of IBM.

As Alderman-at-Large for 17 years, he has been a large presence in the public life of Kingston. He championed the creation and passage of the city’s first comprehensive plan in 55 years. And when Superstorm Sandy struck the city in 2012, it was James Noble who led the emergency response in his capacity as acting mayor. 

With his deep experience and diplomatic sensibility, he mentored many new members of the Common Council, and built consensus on difficult, and sometimes divisive, issues.
