Saikat Chakrabarti is running for Congress to represent San Francisco. Saikat was born in Fort Worth, Texas to immigrants from India and moved to San Francisco at 23 years old. He was the second engineer at Stripe before leaving tech to join Bernie's 2016 presidential campaign. In 2017, he co-founded Justice Democrats, recruited AOC to run for Congress, managed her upset campaign, and served as her first Chief of Staff in Washington. Saikat is the President of New Consensus, where he develops comprehensive policy plans for big solutions to the problems facing the American economy today.
