End Medical Debt in Coffee County

Through our partnership with Contest Every Race, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization has offered to match donations 200:1 to help erase medical debt for Coffee Co. residents. They have worked with a variety of groups and organizations to relieve billions of dollars of medical debt. That means for every $1 that is donated to this cause, it will erase $200 of debt. That's a huge deal! The eligibility criteria are: 1) the person must earn well below the federal poverty level, and 2) the person must have medical debt that is more than 5% of their income. Once their debt is relieved, they will receive a letter that will notify them that they no longer have medical debt and that the Coffee Co. Democratic Party relieved their debt. We will collect donations through August.
