I am running re-election for San Diego County Board of Supervisors in District 1 because I understand that together we can build healthier and stronger communities and ensure that government works for all of us.
A product of South Bay public schools, I've spent my life working to remove barriers for underserved communities through civic engagement, public policy, and organizing. My passion to serve is driven by my desire to improve people’s lives in our community.
For more than three decades, I've made the South Bay my home. I have seen first-hand that families all over the County are struggling to have their basic needs met – to pay their rent, pay for their medical expenses, and send their children to school.

- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Political contributions are not tax deductible for Federal or State purposes.
County of San Diego campaign regulations permit only personal contributions of $1,000 per individual, and $2,000 per couple, per election. Spouses may write separate checks or one check signed by both spouses. It is unlawful for a contributor to be reimbursed by any organization, business, or individual.
