Support Dr. Ami Bera
Dr. Ami Bera is seeking his first term in Congress. Early in the election cycle, Dr. Bera sought our endorsement and we enthusiastically offered our support. On every issue - marriage equality, employment non-discrimination, and more - Dr. Bera supports the LGBT community.
His opponent, Dan Lungren, is one of the most anti-LGBT members of Congress rating 0% on the HRC Congressional Equality Index. Lungren voted in favor of a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality and has opposed every pro-LGBT measure that has come before him in Congress. We need to replace regressive anti-equality politicians with progressive, pro-equality Democrats like Dr. Ami Bera.
