In the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our members have been laid off and have no source of income.
Our goal is to be able to support and lend a hand in one way or another to the most vulnerable and active community members during this pandemic, specifically in the following regions of Virginia where we have community organizing chapters and hubs (Asian American Pacific Islander Civic Engagement - ACE; Virginia Black Leadership Organizing Collaborative - VA BLOC; and Virginia Student Power Network - VSPN):
Arlington County, VA
Alexandria, VA
Fairfax, VA
Loudoun County, VA
Richmond Metro Area, VA
Hampton, VA
Norfolk, VA
Newport News, VA
Prince William County, VA
Funds raised will be distributed among our active members such as the formerly incarcerated, undocumented and mixed status immigrant community members that are currently not getting any assistance from the Federal government's relief packages and any other unemployment benefits.
If you would like to ensure your donation goes to a specific locality or hub please indicate your preference by making a note with the region in your donation.
