In order to pressure the Democratic Party’s presumptive candidate Kamala Harris to choose working people over Wall Street donors and to make good on the hard-fought progress we’ve made over the past 4 years, we must not back down. This is the moment to push further, to push harder. 


We know this because we did it before and it worked. 


We made the decision early on to roll up our sleeves and go door to door, talking to voters in Buffalo, about the Leave it Blank campaign in New York’s presidential primary. We leveraged our vote to send a strong message to President Biden that support for a genocide was a dealbreaker for us. We leveraged our collective electoral power to change the course of history. Together.


This is the most consequential election of our lifetimes. That’s why we must live our values and lean on our people like never before. We must continue to speak out about the issues that matter most to us.


OCAB is ready to knock on doors, talk to neighbors, and make sure that we’re getting out the vote for someone who will champion our values and advance our issues in a real, substantial way in the White House, in the NYS Senate, and on the Board of Education for the Buffalo Public Schools. We need to be as concerned about what happens down the ballot as we are about the highest office in the land.
