About Special Guest Rep. Mike Thompson:
Mike Thompson was first elected to Congress in 1998, where he serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means. He is a small vineyard owner and formerly the maintenance supervisor for the Beringer Winery. Thompson is the co-founder and co-chair of the bipartisan, bicameral Congressional Wine Caucus, which consists of more than 150 U.S. Senators and House Members. Thompson served in combat during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart.
