Fair Ballot Project & Working Families Party of New Jersey October Fundraiser to Abolish The Line

Join us at the beautiful New Brunswick Performing Arts on October 5th from 6 pm to 9 pm for a night of drinks, food, and entertainment supporting the Fair Ballot Legal Defense Fund & Working Families Party of New Jersey's efforts at abolishing the ballot line here in New Jersey.

With the lawsuit against the New Jersey ballot line currently moving into a new phase, we need your support to carry through to the end.

The Fair Ballot Legal Defense Fund was established to fund legal challenges to New Jersey’s unconstitutional “County Line” ballot system. The County Line ballot systemically undermines every New Jerseyans' rights to a fair election, undermines the First and Fourteenth Amendment rights of every New Jersey candidate, and contributes to New Jersey second-to-none political corruption, cronyism, self-dealing, and pay-to-play abuses.

The Fair Ballot Legal Defense Fund & the Working Families Party of New Jersey is proud to team up in support of the legal challenge currently being brought by Brett Pugach, Esq. of Bromberg Law, on behalf of Christine Conforti.

The Fair Ballot Legal Defense Fund has raised over $20,000 since beginning operations in December of 2020, but there is still a long way to go.

We hope you'll join us in this fight, and we hope to see you on October 5th!

Founded in 2002, New Jersey Working Families is a grassroots political movement of the multiracial working class, with campaigns centering around ballot reform and equitable political representation. On NJWF's board are a coalition of labor unions, advocacy organizations, and grassroots groups from all across the state.

NJ Working Families is a plaintiff in the lawsuit. Visit NJWF's abolishtheline.org for updates on the case and to hear stories from those who have been banished to "ballot Siberia."
