As the son of immigrants, the product of Cy-Fair schools, a graduate of the University of Houston, and a small business owner Odus understands we have to get involved to shape the future we want for ourselves and future generations.
As the first Black Chair of the Harris County Democratic Party, Odus led one of the most inclusive voter contact campaigns that resulted in the county’s first Democratic supermajority on Commissioner’s Court since the 1970’s.
Working inside the Texas legislature and lifting up progressive organizations and Democratic campaigns, Odus continues to be a tireless defender of our public schools, restoring women’s autonomy, and an economy that works for all.
Now more than ever, we need get-it-done leaders who stand up for working families.
