Support the Our Hawai'i Foundation

The Our Hawai'i Foundation inspires community support to achieve economic, environmental, and social justice for local working families in Hawai‘i across race, class, gender, and geography.


We support community education and media, direct charitable services and aid, public policy and opinion research, community organizing, and non-partisan civic engagement to support Hawaii’s local working families and environment. All contributions to Our Hawaii Foundation (501(c)3) are tax-deductible.


Programs include:

  1. Direct Services: Perform direct services for communities and the environment including facilitating environmental and community restoration and wellbeing and direct aid to families
  2. Community Organizing: Empower everyday people and community leaders to organize their neighbors and networks towards economic, environmental, and social justice for local working families in Hawai‘i across race, class, gender, and geography 
  3. Cultural Organizing: Develop and support leadership in the arts, entertainment, ethnic and religious cultural centers and practices
  4. Public Policy and Opinion Research: Conduct public policy and opinion research in support of the wellbeing of local working families in Hawaii
  5. Popular Education and Media: Produce media and popular education materials that support public awareness and action in support of Hawaii’s local working families and the environment
