Keep Abortion Legal in Ohio

In 2019, Ohio's Republican legislature outlawed abortion after just six weeks - making Ohio as repressive as Texas. 


So 1,400 dedicated physicians formed Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights and launched #ProtectChoiceOhio, a ballot initiative to secure reproductive rights in the Ohio Constitution - beyond the reach of right-wing politicians.


The courage demonstrated by these Ohio doctors in their approach has led to a disciplined campaign that can be a model for the nation.


Now #ProtectChoiceOhio and its partners must collect 413,000 valid Ohio voters’ signatures by July 5 to put it on the November ballot so Ohio voters can decide.
