It’s both a challenging and exciting time in our nation and our State. The demographics of our state and our country are changing, and we’re striving to ensure that immigrant and refugee communities are shaping the future, holding candidates and elected officials accountable, and build the political capacity of our communities.
We love immigrants and refugees; we love young people; and we are excited about the future that lies ahead. We train members in immigrant and refugee communities with the skills needed to impact elections; we impact elections through endorsements, voter registration, community education and campaigns to turn out marginalized communities to vote; we encourage community members to run for office; and we hold elected officials accountable to our communities.
Throughout, we are committed to deep organizing and leadership engagement in marginalized and disproportionately impacted communities of color.
