Throughout her career, Oriella has worked in the public health sector and throughout numerous levels of government, helping connect people with resources, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure that residents across Virginia have a voice in the decisions that affect their everyday lives.

She currently services as a Commissioner for Prince William County Parks and Recreation and on the HECHO Advisory Board through the National Wildlife Federation. She has also served in the U.S. Senate for Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, and later worked as an Advisor at U.S. Department of Transportation in the Biden–Harris Administration, where she contributed to initiatives that delivered wins for all Americans.
