We all should have the freedom to be safe in our homes, our schools, our workplaces, and our communities without the constant threat of gun violence looming over our heads. The corporate gun lobby is targeting House Democrats because we had the courage to close the gun show loopholes by supporting expanded background checks, raising the legal age to purchase guns to 21, banning bump stocks, and limiting high-capacity magazines.
As the Vermont House Majority Leader, it's my job to support the reelection of my caucus members. That's why I need your help to fight back against the corporate gun lobby so we can protect our families from the horrors of gun violence. I've been inspired by all of the students standing up for gun safety measures and their future is important. A safe Vermont is critical for Our Future.
