Our Future, Aurora

embed errored

Here in Aurora, Colorado, our future is in our hands.

In the worst ways, however, that fact is repeatedly presented to us, in ways terrifyingly similar to that of 12 years ago, when 12 Coloradans were gunned down.

Sometimes it very well may feel like the worst simply outnumbers the best days. Indeed, with "greedflation", violence, & more plaguing us, there is a lot of need for hope.

Former President Barack Obama taught us that the audacity of hope is the seed of change. Can we change things for the better, together, united, & free of stratifying strife? Yes we can.

The material reality we have to change may be great but we have a path for it and champions to pave the way. We're led to this moment where our collective future lays before us, by our champions.

President Joe Biden's vice president, Kamala Harris, has chosen a running mate in our 2024 Democratic Presidential Election.

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has worked hard for the people, protecting Medicare, Social Security, and keeping us out of wars, to the best of his ability. That champion of progress has endorsed the working class hero in Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota.

We will elect the working class of America: Harris-Walz 2024 for the Democratic Party, for democracy.

We have taken injury after injury, as a nation, as the far-right, like a pathetic, weird, little bully, has continuously told us "stop hitting yourself". For decades! Well, enough is enough.

It cannot be ignored that those bullies are backed by the corrupting influence of dark money, the secretive tunnels that the ruling class use to funnel money without attaching their names to these far right ghouls. (They not like us. We crowdfund our money from good working people like you! So thank you for donating!)

Our struggles cannot be plastered over with the hateful plain white (supremacist) paint "landlord specials" of robber baron real estate mogul Donald Trump. And this election will bear that out.

The material reality and tragedies plaguing our nation are the root issues. But that isn't all for the far-right of our nation's ruling class. It never is! We must beat them to every single seat.

Injured and then insulted: we see the far-right elect, at best, clowns like Lauren Boebert. And at worst, monsters, like Trump's vulture capitalist running mate, JD Vance. Not to mention all the weird characters between them and around them, ranging from the comical to the horrifying.

On the other hand, our candidates represent change like what can be felt by Minnesotans, thanks to the working class Democratic leadership of Governor Tim Walz. Especially in the rural and "red" districts, where he happened to grow up, teach, coach football, and organize with his union.

The far-right ruling class can try to prevail over the people and enact whatever weird extremist policies they want. They can try, and they will. Google: Project 2025.

Let's show them that that will never hold a single seat in elected office. This is our guidepost (just some things that Walz championed & won):

  • Universal school meals
  • Stronger labor protections
  • Cannabis legalization
  • Stronger LGBTQ+ protections
  • Paid leave/sick
  • 100% clean energy by 2030
  • Reproductive rights
  • $1 billion for housing
  • Gun safety; &,
  • Cut child poverty 1/3

Thank you. Your support is critical.

Your material support helps us expand our rights at best, and at worst, helps us act as a bulwark against repression, austerity, and harsh survival, by protecting them.
