Help us launch the OurCount campaign!

We ALL deserve to be counted, regardless of the Supreme Court's decision on the citizenship question.

Help us make this a reality by donating to help launch the OurCount campaign before their decision comes out in the next few weeks!

To protect our communities, we’re launching a campaign called OurCount to educate as many people as possible about the importance of participating in the 2020 Census no matter what.

Here’s the OurCount campaign plan to ensure we all get counted and get the resources we deserve:

  1. Share educational materials on what the citizenship question means for our communities to tens of thousands of people through social media posts and ads. We want to make sure people hear the truth, and take away the fear and distrust that Trump is trying to create around the Census
  2. Launch OurCount.org, a cutting-edge interactive digital hub for people to get information they need on the Census and the citizenship question, and find resources to educate themselves and their communities
  3. Run grassroots education events all year long in Black communities nationwide to teach people how the Census impacts their health care, school funding, representation in Congress, job opportunities and more, and train them to spread that knowledge to their communities

Nothing could be a more powerful resistance to the citizenship question than refusing to bow to it. This is what the OurCount campaign stands for.

Please, help us get it off the ground by donating now.
