In a close race, the presidential election could be decided by two unlikely spots: Nebraska’s Second Congressional District and Maine's Second Congressional District.

Unlike the other 48 states, Nebraska and Maine award their Electoral College votes by the congressional district method: The statewide winner receives two votes, and the winner of each district receives one. And while one or two electoral votes do not sound like much, these special votes could prove critical in a close race and put Joe Biden over the top and into the White House.
