Electrification and Biodiversity- Investing in a Mountain View for Future Generations

When you look at Mountain View, what kind of future do you see?

For me—as a 20-year resident, high school physics teacher, mechanical engineer, mom, and President of GreenSpacesMV—I envision a Mountain View where our city actively leads on environmental sustainability and native biodiversity. A city where we transition off fossil fuels, build green complete streets, expand pesticide-free green spaces, and protect the local wildlife species that make the Bay Area so special.

Building an environmentally progressive community isn't just a vision on my campaign website—it’s work I’ve been leading on the ground. From planting the 10,000 sq ft Cuesta Park Native Pollinator Habitat to advocating for our city's Dark Sky Initiative and tree canopy protections, I’m running for City Council to ensure local ecosystems thrive alongside our city.

That’s why I am so excited to invite you to our upcoming "Going Electric" House Tour & Biodiversity Fundraising Event!

🏡 Part 1 — After-dinner treats while you explore an All Electric Modern Home with Native Garden: Take an insider tour of an all-electric local home! See heat pumps, induction cooking, rooftop solar, battery storage, and EV charging operating in real-world conditions.

🦉 Part 2 — Special Guest Speaker: An expert local biologist will deliver a targeted talk on the sharp, concerning decline of Bay Area Burrowing Owls—and the concrete, local steps we can take to stabilize and restore their population!

(Note: Every contribution level includes entry and speaker panel. Give whatever amount feels right for you!)

If you believe that Mountain View should lead the Bay Area in native biodiversity, park expansion, and environmental protection, please RSVP today and chip in to power our campaign to the Council dais.
