The Pakistani American Council of Texas (PACT) is excited to see an Asian American with Pakistani roots running for the U.S. House of Representatives (TX-07).
Pervez Agwan is a candidate in the Mar-2024 primaries for the Democratic nomination for TX-07 in the upcoming Nov-2024 election cycle.
Pervez is an MIT graduate and renewable energy developer.
If elected, Pervez would be Texas' first Muslim and Asian-American U.S. Congressman representing what is now the state's most diverse congressional district.
PACT supports Pervez's vision for Texas and the U.S. and looks forward to seeing him as the first Muslim American from Texas elected to the U.S. Congress, and as the first "desi" Muslim American ever in the U.S. Congress.
You can see Pervez's views on policies that matter to our communities at his campaign website:
We encourage the community across the U.S., and especially those within Greater Austin / Central Texas, Greater Houston, DFW metroplex, & Greater San Antonio, to show their support for Pervez's campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives by contributing using this form.
