Professionalism, not politics

Goal thermometer

I am running for Mason County Auditor because I want to bring my nearly 20 years of experience in managing elections and government finance to serve the good people of this county.

Elections are a lot more complicated than they were when I got my start in the field in early 2000 and it’s very important that professionals are overseeing them. The stakes are too high to entrust our elections to people without experience and expertise.

I have devoted much of my career to seeing that every eligible citizen has access to the ballot, regardless of their circumstance, be it disability or serving their country somewhere around the globe.

I want to continue that work by serving the people of Mason County as their Auditor and keeping Washington State at the forefront of innovation and access.  There is more information on my website (https://www.paddymcguire.com/) about my goals and plans.

I have never run for office before and making sure that everyone in the county learns about me and my experience is an expensive proposition. Although I was unopposed in the primary, a Republican gathered enough write-in votes and will appear on the general election ballot.

I need your help to raise an additional $12,000 to ensure that I can carry my message across the county. Please give what you can to support my campaign.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help.
